    AMGC masters research lines (i) in Environmental Chemistry through the study of the behaviour of trace elements, radionuclides and organic micropollutants in aquatic ecosystems including the development of passive sampling device based on DGT and CALUX bioassays; (ii) in Chemical Cosmology to understand the young solar system, the planet formation, and the large-scale bio-geo-evolution of the Earth; and (iii) in Bioarchaeology, through the study of stable isotopes to document migrations, exchanges and dietary patterns of ancient human populations.

    The research activity of the Toxicological Center is situated in the broad field of environmental sciences, with emphasis on the influence and impact of contaminants on human and environmental health. The major interest relate to: (1) development of advanced analytical methods based on mass spectrometry, (2) characterization of human exposure to organic contaminants, (3) assessment of human toxicity by metabolomics, (4) assessment of health and lifestyle status of population via wastewater analysis, and (5) impact of legacy and emerging contaminants on aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems.
